I'm Alive

For quite awhile now, I've been trying to do a pic for Ryan for our anniversary. All of the previous attempts were uber-detailed snuggly pics that just.. never felt right, y'know? And I was futzing so much with all the little details that the big picture wasn't happening.

I was trying to express just what he means to me and how he makes me feel, and snugglepics just weren't cutting it, no matter how much detailing I tried to put in. So, they all got tossed aside.

Then, I heard this song today; I'm Alive, by Celine Dion (yeahyeahyeah, shuddup) , and the imagery just sorta.. Hit. What resulted was this, a pic that is simple, undetailed, and quick. Not what I'd originally intended, but , I think this expresses how I feel as much as I can on paper.

Ryan, thank you for my wings. And here's to the rest of our lives.
