He may think he's an everyday average joe, with a nine-to-five and a little pot belly, but he's got a pair of wings he can't quite see, and he's so much more than he knows...

I've been working hard on this one for the past couple days.. trying to work out how I feel, and trying to get a feeling of more "weight" and "squishiness" to these guys.. like they're really pressed to each other, you know?

Coz', well, I'm really going to miss that feeling.

I leave for school in January. I'm really excited, because this is the start of something great, and it's a step towards the future. But I'm gonna miss Ryan a TON.

Vinci is missing his specs, but I don't think he cares right now. He still sees those hidden wings just fine.

I've never quite seen this mixture of feeling, cartooniness, and ordinary realism in the body type.

I've always envied your incredible lineart skills, and this is no exception. My goodness Vinci, you've portrayed such emotion through this piece, I can just see how you feel and stuff through it- its incredible.
I love how they are holding each other so tight, as if to never let go, and the concept of having hidden wings, is one of the most gorgeous things I have heard or seen!:heart:
The poses of the characters looks so natural and human, definately looks so real I could reach out and touch it. Also Ryans' characters tail (I hope thats right) looks beautifully detailed!:)
Awrrr Vinci from this picture I've seen and what you said in your description, methinks you needs a hug! *biiighug* Do you have to leave Ryan for a long time in order to attend school *sorry if she is evoking sad thoughts*

I've always found you had a way with capturing emotions on paper, and that's what a true artist is. Someone who captures feelings and emotions in a visible or audible form. All of your art really touches me and this piece is no acception. Keep up the great work ^_^
