Apologies for the weird scan, still getting used to Mama's scanner.

Just finished this one, it's pretty much how I'm feeling right now. I hate to be such a downer, but y'know, art therapy and all that. Yep, your typical angstvent. Sometimes they are needed.

Kinda weird, a fusion of the two versions of Vinci, mine and Ryan's. He's got the ripped ear from the comic version, and the torture collar from Ryan's Guardians stories. There are two versions because Ryan's original character concept is a whole lot darker, and his backstory was really too complicated to bother with for the strip. However, the collar is sort of symbolic anyway. But enough of that.

I don't know what else to say right now, so I'll just wave hi and hope you all are well. And I'll try to be funny next time. <:)

meanwhile, yes. I always enjoy your posts, because I know they're consistently well formed and realised. That collar is disturbing, I've not heard of such a thing... so it has inward spikes?

One of hte best ways to relieve yourself is to do something creative, so there ya go! :smile:
It's a really cute drawing, and I've seen that character before, though I never actually read any of hte material he's from.

That's pretty neat. I didn't know there were two versions of Vinci; are Ryan's stories online as well?

Don't worry about being funny for us...hell, if you're not feeling it, it won't be genuine, will it? You always put what you're feeling into your art, and that makes it beautiful. :) Just like this one.
On a sympathetic note, I know to a certain level how you feel...and I hope you're able to feel better till you and your hubby are together again.
